India Imposes Final Anti-Dumping Duty on Green Veneer Tape from Chinese Taipei to Protect Domestic Industry

The Central Government of India has imposed a final anti-dumping duty on Green Veneer Tape imported from Chinese Taipei, following findings that these goods were sold in India below their normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty, effective from July 9, 2003, is calculated as the difference between a specified amount in US dollars per square meter and the landed value of the goods. This measure aims to protect the Indian industry from the adverse effects of such imports. The duty applies to all grades of Green Veneer Tape, regardless of the producer or exporter.
