Import Restrictions on Durum and Other Wheat Suspended Until December 31, 2007, Under Foreign Trade Act Amendment.

The existing policy for the import of items under Exim Codes 10011090 (Durum Wheat: Other) and 10019020 (Other Wheat) is suspended until December 31, 2007. During this period, the import of these wheat categories will be allowed without restrictions. This amendment, issued by the Central Government under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, is in the public interest and modifies the previous notification dated December 22, 2006. The notification was signed by the Director General of Foreign Trade and is documented under File No. 01/89/180/Misc.66/AM06/PC-1A.
