India updates income tax regulations: Notification No. 74 of 2003 amends rule 1, sub-rule (1) and footnotes.

The Government of India has issued an amendment to Notification No. S.O. 278(E) dated 11th March 2003, concerning income tax regulations. The amendment, detailed in Notification No. 74 of 2003 dated 1st April 2003, involves changes in rule 1, sub-rule (1), where "(Second Amendment)" is replaced with "(Third Amendment)." Additionally, the footnote reference "No. S.O. 104(E) dated 28th January 2003" is updated to "No. S.O. 138(E) dated 6th February 2003."
