India Extends Anti-Dumping Duty on Acrylic Fibre from Korea and Thailand, Excludes USA Imports Until October 2008

The Government of India has amended Notification No. 106/2002-Customs regarding the anti-dumping duty on acrylic fibre from Korea RP and Thailand. The designated authority initiated a review under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and recommended extending the duty for one year from its expiry. The amendment specifies that the notification will remain in force until October 8, 2008, unless revoked earlier. However, the anti-dumping duty will not apply to imports from the USA from October 9, 2007.
