Cancer Hospital Approved as Scientific Research Association Under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act 1961

The Cancer Hospital & Research Institute of the Jan Vikas Nyas Public Trust in Gwalior has been approved as a "scientific research association" by the Indian Council of Medical Research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is valid from April 20, 1981, to April 19, 1983. The institute must maintain separate accounts for medical research funds, submit annual scientific research activity returns by May 31 each year, and provide an annual audited statement of accounts to both the Council and the relevant Income-tax Commissioner.
