International Crude Oil Prices of Indian Basket Decreases on 24.9.2012 to US$ 108.42/BBL

The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas decreased to US$ 108.42/barrel (bbl) on 24.9.2012. The price was higher than US$ 109.20/bbl on 21.09.2012, the last trading day.

In rupee terms also, the crude oil price decreased to Rs 5777.70 per bbl on 24.09.2012 from Rs 5886.97 per bbl on 21.09.2012. The rupee-dollar exchange rate on 24.09.2012 was at Rs 53.29/US$ against Rs 53.91/US$ on 21.09.2012.
