Hyderabad, 15th April 2025: Cream Stone, a homegrown boutique ice cream brand known for pioneering the frozen stone concept in India, has announced the launch of its latest innovation – ‘Cream Stone TUBZ’, a premium line of packaged ice creams designed to bring the brand’s signature indulgence into customers’ homes.

With this strategic foray into the retail segment, Cream Stone aims to redefine the take-home dessert experience for its growing base of loyal patrons.

Over the years, Cream Stone has built a cult-like following, with crowd favourites such as ‘Nut Overload’ and ‘Willy Wonka’ becoming bestsellers. With TUBZ, Cream Stone takes the next logical step in its evolution—offering the same premium blends in a more convenient and accessible format. Each tub is crafted with care, backed by the brand’s global research and development capabilities and stringent quality controls.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Sheetal Patil, CEO of Cream Stone, said “At Cream Stone, we have always believed in making ice cream an experience – rich, luxurious, and full of joy. With TUBZ, we are bringing that same experience into homes. Whether it’s a celebration or a quiet moment of indulgence, these tubs promise happiness in every scoop. We are excited to begin this new journey from our hometown and look forward to making TUBZ a household name across India.” "We are democratising luxury ice cream for families with TUBZ. Our goal is to achieve a sizeable market share in Telugu states within a year before pan-India expansion," he said.

According to Indian Ice Cream Manufacturers Association (IICMA), the Indian ice cream market is growing @10% per annum CAGR, with at-home consumption rising post-pandemic. CreamStone’s bet on family packs caters to this shift, while its D2C-ready packaging hints at future e-commerce plays.

Mr Patil further said that currently, Cream Stone TUBZ is available at all Cream Stone outlets in Hyderabad and through Swiggy Insta mart. “The launch establishes the brand’s entry into the premium packaged ice cream segment, with further expansion planned across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and eventually into major metros and tier-II cities across India,” he added.

Launched in 2009 in Hyderabad, Cream Stone quickly earned a name for itself by offering customised, artisanal creations where customers could choose from a rich palette of ice cream flavours, nuts, chocolates, fruit bits and other ingredients, which were then artfully blended on a cold stone by trained staff. This approach, coupled with its aesthetic store design and commitment to quality, helped Cream Stone expand to over 110 boutique parlours across 32 cities in seven states mostly in South India.

The new TUBZ line includes twelve unique and indulgent flavours such as Jamaican Almond Fudge, Double Chocolate, Belgium Choco Fudge, Mango Jamun, and Raspberry Panna Cotta. These decadent creations are available in 600 ml family packs as well as 100 ml mini tubs, making them perfect for both shared indulgence and personal treats.
