From Mumbai to the world—experience education through a dual-campus global management programme MUMBAI, India, June 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), recognised as India's #1 B-school by the Financial Times Master in Management Ranking 2024, has opened admissions for the January 2026 cohort of its Global Management Programme (GMP). With over a decade of experience and 21 successful batches, the programme continues to deliver top-tier international education and global career opportunities.

SPJIMR_GMP_Participants.jpg (400×234) GMP offers a transformative learning experience in collaboration with partner schools across Europe, the UK, the USA and Canada. Its structure includes six months of study at the SPJIMR Mumbai campus, followed by 6–18 months at globally recognised partner schools abroad.

Prof. Milind Kamat, Chairperson, GMP, highlighted the advantages of this model: "SPJIMR equips participants with a strong academic foundation to seamlessly transition to partner schools abroad. With our Triple Crown—EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA—accreditation and India's #1 B-school ranking, our students benefit from international credit recognition, reduced programme durations, and enhanced scholarship opportunities. The January intake is an incredible opportunity for aspiring professionals to accelerate personal and professional growth on a global stage." GMP participants gain access to world-class career services at partner schools, including personalised career counselling, mentoring, and guidance for job opportunities. This extensive global network prepares participants to thrive in diverse international careers.

Partner schools – January 2026 cohort The January 2026 cohort will have the opportunity to study at prestigious institutions located in major global business hubs: • USA: Brandeis International Business School, Brandeis University (Boston), Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland (College Park), Stevens School of Business, Stevens Institute of Technology (New Jersey), University of Miami College of Engineering (Coral Gables), USC Marshall School of Business (Los Angeles, California), and Muma College of Business, University of South Florida (Tampa).

    • Europe: Aston Business School, Aston University (Birmingham) and EBS Business School, EBS Universität (Oestrich-Winkel, Germany).

These partnerships provide access to MS/MBA degrees and benefits such as three-year Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the USA. Participants also receive dual alumni status—SPJIMR and their international partner school—enhancing global networking and career prospects.

Curriculum and preparation The GMP programme is designed for flexibility while meeting credit requirements of partner schools. Upon enrolment, participants begin with pre-term foundation courses from Harvard Business Publishing Education in subjects like Quantitative Methods, Accounting, Finance, Business Modelling, and Communication.

The core curriculum includes Leadership, Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations, and Data Science (R/Python, Data Analytics, AI, Digital Transformation). Courses in Project Management, Design Thinking, and Quantitative Methods for Decision Science are mandatory.

Foreign language training—German, French, or Dutch—is also required, equipping participants for cross-cultural communication and global business environments. This differentiator prepares them for multinational roles across Asia, Europe, and the USA.

Eligibility Applicants for the GMP must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognised university. Both recent graduates and experienced professionals are eligible. Valid GMAT, CAT, XAT, NMAT, or GRE scores are required.

Selection process Shortlisting is based on a profile evaluation, including academics, work experience, versatility, and achievements. The application also involves Letters of Recommendation, a Statement of Purpose, and a video essay. Final interviews are conducted on a rolling basis in coordination with international partner schools.
