RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (Foreign Exchange Department) CENTRAL OFFICE NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 27th October, 2011 S.O. 2445(E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (42 of 2010), the Central Government hereby authorises the following officers for according previous sanction as required under the said section, namely:- (i) the Union Home Secretary in respect of offences investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation; (ii) the Home Secretary of the State Government concerned, in respect of offences investigated by the Investigating Agencies (Crime Branch) of the State Governments.
