Specified Goods Imported for Garment or Hosiery Industry - Amendment to Notification No. 262/90-Cus. Notification No. 175/92-Cus. Dated 30-4-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 262/90-Customs, dated the 24th October, 1990, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be added, namely:- S. No. Description (1) (2) "12. Elastic cloth in running length, including elastic cloth in tabular form, of width not exceeding 7.5 cm. 13. Laces of width not exceeding 75 cm. 14. Lining and interlining materials of width not exceeding 87.5 cm excluding nylon taffeta coated fabrics. 15. Sewing thread, including all types of embroidery threads, made from manmade fibres, pure silk and/or mixed fibres of cotton and man-made fibres. 16 Elastic tape and webbing of width not exceeding 30 cm. (including heat resisting rubber tape). 17. Polywadding.".
