Amendment in NOTIFICATION NO. 67/1995 214/1986 NOTIFICATION NO. 35/2000-CE DATED 05/04/2000 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely :- Table S.No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. Ntf. No. 67/95-CE, dated the 16th March, 1995 In the said notification, in first paragraph, (i) in clause (i), for the word, figures and alphabet rule 57Q,the word, figures and alphabets rule 57AA shall be substituted;. (ii) In clause (ii), for the word, brackets and figure column (2), the words, brackets and figure column (1) and for the word, brackets and figure column (3), the word, brackets column (2) shall be substituted. 2. Ntf. No. 214/86-CE dated the 25th March 1986 In the said notification, (a) in the flmt paragraph, (i) for the word, brackets and figure column (2), the word, the word, brackets and figure column (1) shall be substituted; (ii) in clause (a), for the word, brackets and figure column (3), the word, brackets and figure column (2) shall be substituted; (b) in the paragraph 2, in clause (i), in sub-clause (d), for the word, brackets and figure column (2), the word, brackets and figure column (1) shall be substituted. Note : The principal notification No. 214/86-Central Excise, dated 25th March, 1986 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide G.S.R. 547 (E), dated the 25th March, 1986 and was last amended by notification No. 49/2002-CE, Dt. 16/09/2002.
