Renewal of recognition to Magadh Stock Exchange Association, Patna - F.No SEBI/LE/3379/04 - SEBI

SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 19th February, 2004 F.No SEBI/LE/3379/04.- The Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956, by Magadh Stock Exchange Association, (hereinafter referred to as the Exchange ) having its registered office at 9th Floor, Ashiana Plaza, Budh Marg, Patna-800001 and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 renewal of recognition to the said Exchange under section 4 of the said Act for a further period of one year commencing on the 11th day of December, 2003 and ending on the 10th day of December, 2004 in respect of contracts in securities, subject to the conditions stated herein below or as may be prescribed or imposed hereafter: (i) Setting of TGF/SGF by the Exchange after final approval by SEBI. (ii) Trading shall commence only after setting up of Settlement Guarantee Fund or Trade Guarantee Fund, duly approved by SEBI. (iii) Payment of balance amount of Rs. 11,31,768 on or before December 1, 2004 towards refundable financial support extended by SEBI to the Exchange. G.N.
