Central Government notifies an additional area of 88.02 hectares, as a part of above Special Economic Zone, thereby making the total area of the Special Economic Zone as 1377.4622 hectares at Jamnagar, in the State of Gujarat - S.O. 1984(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (SEZ DIVISION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st May, 2025 S.O. 1984(E). Whereas, M/s. Reliance Industries Limited, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Multi-Product Special Economic Zone at Jamnagar, in the State of Gujarat; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as details given below in the table:- Sl. Reliance Industries Limited, has now proposed for inclusion of additional area of 88.02 hectares as a part of above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 8th April, 2025; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 88.02 hectares, as a part of above Special Economic Zone, thereby making the total area of the Special Economic Zone as 1377.4622 hectares.
