Amendment of section 14.
138. In section 14 of the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017, (15 of 2017) in sub-section (1), in the proviso, for the words “three years”, the words “five years” shall be substituted.
Notes on Clauses:
Clause 138 of the Bill seeks to amend section 14 of the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act so as to extend the time limit provided for removal of difficulties thereunder from three years to five years with effect from the date of commencement of the said Act.
