13. Amendment of section 80C. In section 80C of the Income-tax Act,- (a) in sub-section (2),- (i) in clause (d), the words or ten thousand rupees, whichever is less shall be omitted; (ii) in clause (h), in sub-clause (it), in item (c), in sub-item (6), after the words public company , the words or a public sector company or a University established by law or a college affiliated to such University or a local authority shall be inserted; (b) in sub-section (8), after clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - (d) contribution to any fund shall not include any sums in repayment of loan. .
