PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 26/2016 DATED 09.08.2016 Sub: Closure of Customs Division consequent to changes made to chapter IX of the Customs Act and Regulations issued thereunder - reg. Attention of all the Importers, Warehouse license holders, Customs Brokers and the members of Trade is invited to the Board's Circular No.22/ 2016 - Customs dated 31.05.2016 enumerating the procedures to be followed for filing ex-bond bill of entry on ICES. 2. Since the ex-bond bill of entry on ICES are enabled at the Customs station of import and consequent to issue of Public Notice No.19/ 2016 dated 28.06.2016 in this regard, all the various items of work related to the Warehouses shall henceforth be facilitated at the respective Customs station of import itself. In view of this, the functioning of the Customs Division presently at NO.29/2, BASAVESHWARA BUILDING, CRESCENT ROAD, BANGALORE - 560 001 is being dispensed with. Accordingly, with effect from 16.08.2016 all the Importers, Warehouse license holders, Customs Brokers and the members of Trade are requested to contact the Warehousing Section at respective Customs station of import for any kind of facilitation in this regard. 3.
