IV(16) Hq/Tech/Jal/06/15/9814-27 Dated: 20/10/2016 Trade Notice No-5/CEX/2016 Subject: Ticker for implementation of ER-8 return for Jewellery manufactures in ACES website-reg. 1. Jewellery manufacturers are required to file modified ER-8 return which will be made available in ACES shortly. A ticker has been placed in ACES to inform such assessees, to file amendment to their registration, if they have not registered with the Business category Jewellery-7133 . In this regards all the Deputy/Assistant Commissioners of all the Divisions of this Commissionerate have already been informed on 4.08.2016. 2. All the field formations, Division Offices, Range Office shall process such amendment requests on priority so as to enable Jewellery manufacturers to file the return. Further, physical verification is not required for such manufacturers, both at the time of original registration and amendment. 3. The contents of Trade Notice may be brought to the knowledge of all constituent members of Trade Associations/Chambers of Commerce. Commissioner
