Sub: E - Payment of Central Excise Duty; E - Filing of Central Excise ER-1 Returns - Regarding. Attention of the Central Excise assessees registered with Hyderabad IV Commissionerate is invited to Notification No.04/2010-CE(NT) dated 19.2.2010 issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, New Delhi 2. Attention of the trade is also invited to this office Trade Notice No. 03/2009 (C.EX) dated 10.9.2009. 3. All the assessees who have paid Central Excise duty of rupees ten lakh or more including the amount paid by utilization of CENVAT Credit in the preceding financial year are required to deposit the Central Excise duty electronically through internet banking (e-payment through EASIEST) with effect from 1 st April, 2010 4. It is also informed that, those assessees who have paid Central Excise duty of rupees ten lakh or more including the amount paid by utilization of CENVAT Credit in the preceding financial year are required to file their returns electronically through ACES with effect from 1 st April 2010. Manual returns will not be accepted in respect of such assesses with effect from 1st April 2010 5.
