No: I(Gen)19-124/Cus/T/17-18 Dated: 10.05.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 09/2017-18 Subject: - Appropriate authority for sanction and disbursement of Drawback Claim on supplies made by domestic Tariff Area (DTA) Unit to Units located in special Economic Zone (SEZ) - Regarding. Attention of all the Importer, Exporters, Customs Brokers, other stake holders and members of the trade is invited to Board circular no. 43/2007-Cus dt. 05.12.2007, Circular no. 39/2010-cus dt. 15.11.2010 and Circular no. 24/2017-cus dt. 30.06.2017 on the captioned subject. 2. In this regard as per Circular no. 24/2017-Cus dt. 30.06.2017, I Neerav Kumar Mallick, Commissioner of Customs Indore authorize Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Customs of jurisdiction Circles of Customs Commissionerate for disposal/disbursement of drawback Of their jurisdiction filed by the DTA suppliers in respect Of supplies made to SEZ unit or Developer. The Drawback Claim in respect of goods supplied by the DTA unit to Developers or unit in SEZ can be claimed by the DTA supplies on the basis of the disclaimer issued by the SEZ Unit or Developer. The disclaimer certificate issued by the SEZ unit or the Developer to the DTA supplier has to be supported by the certificate of the specified officer in the SEZ to the effect that drawback has not been availed/claimed Of on the goods by SEZ Unit or the Developer. 3. All the Trade associations Chambers of Commerce and members of Regional Advisory Committee/Public grievance Committee are requested to circulate and publicize the contents of this Public Notice amongst their member constituents.
