Applications are invited in the enclosed proforma from Chartered Engineers (individuals or Company represented by the individuals) of various branches of specialization for empanelment with the Customs Department, Custom House, Chennai for valuation of imported old and used/second hand machinery, computers, medical equipments, other capital goods, spare parts, mould, photocopier, multifunction machinery etc. Chartered Engineers empanelled vide Public Notice No. 120/2008 dated 01.09.2008 as well as others (new ones) desirous of being empanelled can apply. All claims regarding qualification and experience have to be supported completely by certificate, testimonials etc. The empanelment will be done through a process of formal interview by a panel of experts. The duly filled applications with all required enclosures should reach Shri K.S.V.V. Prasad, Joint Commissioner, Custom House, No.60, Rajai Sali, Chennai -1 in a sealed cover on or before 21.11.2011.
