Commissioners of Customs (Appeals) appointed as Commissioner of Central Excise (Appeals) - 03/2010 - Central Excise - Non TariffExtract Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No. 03/2010-Central Excise (N.T.) New Delhi, the 10th February, 2010 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Section 2 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) read with sub-rules (1) and (2) of Rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002 , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the officers specified in column (1) of the Table below as Central Excise Officers, and invests with them the powers of such officer specified in column (2) of the said Table, to be exercised within such jurisdiction as specified in column (3) of the said Table.
