U/s. 35AC, IT ACT, 1961 - Eligible Projects Or Schemes, Expenditure On – Shri Vidyabharati Vanvasi Shikshan Samiti, Bharuch - 109/2013 - Income Tax

NOTIFICATION NO.109/2013 DATED 27-12-2013 S.O. 3860(E) - WHEREAS by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) number S.O.1794(E) dated the 23rd October, 2007 , issued under clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government had notified at serial number 15, Madhav Vidhyapith residential school for tribal students by Shri Vidyabharati Vanvasi Shikshan Samiti, Narmada 44, Sardar Nagar, AT PO - Valia, Tal - Valia, District Bharuch - 393 135, as an eligible project or scheme for a period of three years beginning with financial year 2007-08; and which was further extended vide S.O. No.1786(E) dated 21.07.2010 for a period of three years ending with financial year 2012-13; AND, WHEREAS, vide notification number S.O. No. 868 (E) dated 27.04.2011 the project cost was enhanced from ₹ 5 crore to ₹ 10 crore including a corpus fund of ₹ 7 crore; AND WHEREAS the said project or scheme is likely to extend beyond six years; NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC , of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), - hereby notifies the scheme or project Madhav Vidhyapith residential school for tribal students , which is being carried out by Shri Vidyabharati Vanvasi Shikshan Samiti, Narmada 44, Sardar Nagar, AT PO - Valia, Tal - Valia, District Bharuch - 393 135, without any change in the approved cost of ₹ 10.00 crore including a corpus fund of ₹ 7 crore, as an eligible project or scheme for a further period of three years commencing with financial year 2013-14 i.e., 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.
