Central Government notified quota of 4 lakh MT for import of Urad [Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper] for the period up to 31st March, 2022 - S.O. 1017 (E) - Foreign Trade Policy

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd March, 2021 S.O. 1017(E) .-In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992) , read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 , as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby notifies quota of 4 Lakh MT for import of Urad [Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper] under HS Codes 0713 31 10, 0713 90 10 and 0713 90 90 of Chapter 7 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule I (Import Policy) , for the period up to 31st March, 2022, for the year 2021-22, the import policy of which is Restricted . Import of Urad under the import restriction will be allowed only to the Millers/Refiners and will be distributed equally or for the quantity applied, whichever is lower, as per procedure to be notified separately by Directorate General of Foreign Trade. 2.
