Special Economic Zone - Central Government de-notifies an area of 2.19 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 5.97 hectares at Sy. No. 1/1, Plot No. 6 IDA Uppal, Ranga Reddy District, in the State of Telangana - S.O. 2138 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (SEZ DIVISION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th May, 2023 S.O. 2138(E) . Whereas, M/s. NSL SEZ (Hyderabad) Pvt. Ltd. (formerly, M/s. Topnotch Infrastructure Private Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Sy. No. 1/1, Plot No. 6 IDA Uppal, Ranga Reddy District, in the State of Telangana; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , notified an area of 14.50 hectares and de-notified an area of 10.72 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Numbers S.O. 782 (E) dated 18th May, 2007 and S.O. 1858 (E) dated 04th May, 2018 , respectively; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government further approved the request of change of name from M/s. Topnotch Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. to M/s. NSL SEZ (Hyderabad) Pvt. Ltd. vide letter dated 19th February, 2009; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. NSL SEZ (Hyderabad) Pvt. Ltd. has now proposed for inclusion of additional area of 2.19 hectares as a part of above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 01st May, 2023; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 2.19 hectares, as a part of above Special Economic Zone, thereby making the total area of the Special Economic Zone as 5.97 hectares.
