Amends Notification No. 231/87-C.E. - Credit on alcohol used for chemicals Notification No. 7/89-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57K of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 231/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st October, 1987, namely :- In the said notification,- (i) in the opening paragraph, in clause (b) for the abbreviation, figures and words "Rs. 258 per kilolitre", the abbreviation, figures and words "Rs. 520 per kilolitre" shall be substituted; (ii) in the Table, after S. No. 32 and entires relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "33 39.06 Ethyl Acrylate".
