Amendments to Notification Nos. 36/93-C.E. 38/93-C.E. Notification No. 79/93-C.E. Dated 12-3-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. In the said notification, the brackets, words and figures "(other than those falling under Heading No. 68.04)" shall be omitted. 2. No. 38/93-Central Excises, dated the 28th February, 1993. In the said notification, - (i) the brackets, words and figures "(other than those falling under Heading No. 68.04)" shall be omitted; and (ii) for the words, figures and brackets "more than 30% by weight (minus the water content)", the words and figures "not less than 25% by weight" shall be substituted.
