To set up a sector Specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at village Hinjewadi, Taluka Mulshi District Pune - Maharashtra - S.O. 254(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OFCOMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 3rd February, 2010 S.O. 254(E) - Whereas M/s. Flagship Infrastructure Private Limited, a private organisation in the State of Maharashtra, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at village Hinjewadi, Taluka Mulshi, District Pune in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 11.7943 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1697(E) dated 3rd October, 2007 ; And whereas, M/s. Flagship Infrastructure Private Limited has now proposed for the inclusion of 0.2201 hectares and de-notification of 1.8818 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 20th August, 2008 and 22nd December, 2009 respectively; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Roles, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 0.2201 hectares and denotifies an area of 1.8818 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 10.1326 hectares, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely:- TABLE Serial No. Name of the Village Survey Number Area originally Notified (in hectares) Area to be Notified (in hectares) Area to be De-notified (in hectares) New Area of the SEZ (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) 1.
