APPELLATE TRIBUNAL FOR FOREIGN EXCHANGE MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 20th October, 2010 No. CP/SV/ATFE/20 19/03.- In exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 20 and Section 29 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Chairperson constitutes the following Benches of the Appellate Tribunal, namely :— (a) Single Member Benches, one Bench consisting of Chairperson and other Benches consisting of a Member each and Tribunal Division Bench consisting of Chairperson with a Member or any 2 Members sitting jointly. 2. A Division Bench shall hear cases in which an amount of penalty exceeds R.s. 20 lakhs and all other cases shall be heard by Single Member Bench.
