S.O. (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby makes, the following addition with immediate effect at the end of Paragraph No. 2 of Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007, as amended from time to time (pertaining to prohibition on export of wheat and wheat products). 2. In Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007, sub para 2.10 was added on 12.05.2010 vide Notification No. 40/2009-14. Now another sub-para 2.11 is added as under: 2 [ 2.11 The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009 , dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 2,50,000 MT of wheat to Afghanistan through Food Corporation of India. ] 1 [ 2.12 The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009 , dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat products shall not be applicable to export of the following quantities of wheat flour to Maldives through the PSUs indicated below: Item Year Quantity in MTs Name of PSU Wheat Flour 2011-12 32,095 MMTC Ltd 2012-13 35,304 MMTC Ltd 2013-14 38,835 MMTC Ltd 3. 2 [ This quantity shall be exported by Food Corporation of India out of the Central Pool stock during the Financial Year 2011-12 i.e. upto 31.03.2012. ] 4. Effect of this notification: The export of 1,00,000 MTs of wheat to Afghanistan, as a donation from Government of India to the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan will be permitted for export through FCI. upto 31.03.2011. Substituted vide Notification No. 44 (RE-2010)/2009-2014, dated 02/05/2011, before it was read as:- This quantity shall be exported by Food Corporation of India out of the Central Pool stock during the Financial Year 2010-11 i.e. upto 31.03.2011. before it was read as;- 2.11The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 1,00,000 MT of wheat to Afghanistan through Food Corporation of India.
