NOTIFICATION Set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for pharmaceutical sector at Village Krushnoor, Taluka Naigaon, District Nanded in the State of Maharashtra; Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 - Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 462(E), DATED 1-3-2011 Whereas, M/s. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, a State industrial promotion organisation in the State of Maharashtra, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for pharmaceutical sector at Village Krushnoor, Taluka Naigaon, District Nanded in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, had notified an area of 150 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 34(E), dated 11th January, 2007; And whereas, M/s. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, has now proposed for changes in areas of some survey numbers along with inclusion of some new survey numbers at above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal has given its acceptance; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the changes in survey numbers with same resultant area 150 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely : S.No. Name of the Village Previous Survey No. Previous Area (in hectares) Revised Survey No. Revised Area (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) 1.
