MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17 th June, 2011 G.S.R. 477(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22C of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Appellate Authority (Allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service of Chairperson and Members and the manner of meeting expenditure of the Authority) Rules, 2006, namely:- 1. Short Title and Commencement. (1) these rules may be called the Appellate Authority (Allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service of Chairperson and members and the manner of meeting expenditure of the Authority) Amendment Rules, 2011. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Appellate Authority (Allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service of Chairperson and Members and the manner of meeting expenditure of the Authority) Rules, 2006, (i) For rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- 3. Allowances. The Chairperson and the Members of the Authority shall be paid the following amount for each day of sitting, namely:- Chairperson Rupees Six Thousand, Member Rupees Four Thousand Five Hundred ; (ii) Explanation to rule 4 shall be omitted.
