Amendment of the notification no. S.O.279(E), dated the 12th March, 2003 Notification No. 146 of 2004, dt. 18th May, 2004 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 118 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby amends the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, no. S.O.279(E) published in the Gazette of India. Extraordinary, Part II, section 3(ii), dated the 12 th March, 2003, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, at serial no.2, under column (4), after the entries no. (i), and (ii), the following shall be inserted, namely:- "Joint Commissioner of Income-tax (Transfer Pricing Officer-III), Mumbai". This Notification shall come into force with effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. F.No.500/ 18/2002-FTD
