Sector specific Special Economic Zone for IT/ITES Sector at Ananthasagar Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Warangal District in the State of Telangana (erstwhile Andhra Pradesh) - S.O. 1560(E) - Special Economic Zone

Rescinded vide Notification No. S.O. 871(E) dated 23-02-2023 Notification No : S.O. 1560(E), dated 17-9-2007. Whereas, M/s. V.R. Enterprises, a private organisation in the State of Andhra Pradesh, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services sector at Ananthasagar Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Warangal District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development, operation and maintenance of the sector-specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services sector at Ananthasagar Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Warangal District in the State of Andhra Pradesh on the 30th July, 2007; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Ananthasagar Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Warangal District in the State of Andhra Pradesh, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely : TABLE Serial Survey Total Area number number (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) 1. 109 1.67 2. 463 0.27 3. 493 2.43 4. 494 3.89 5. 502 1.86 Total 10.12
