ASSOCHAM National Conference on POST BUDGET DISCUSSION July 2014, New Delhi & Mumbai

The Union Budget 2014-15 will be presented in the Parliament on 10th July 2014. Since this will be the first budget by the new Government, there could be shift in the direction of tax policy and tax structure which may have impact on all tax payers and significant impact on certain businesses. The Tax Administration Reform Commission has also submitted its first report and some of its recommendations may find place in the Budget proposals. Government may also announce long term tax reform initiatives like implementation of GST and taxation of cross border transactions and investments.  

In order to bring greater awareness about the new tax proposals in the Union Budget 2014-15 and to provide clarifications across the table to all stakeholders, ASSOCHAM is organizing a National Conference on Post Budget Discussion as per the following schedule:

We have invited Shri Shaktikanta Das, Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance to Inaugurate the Conferences in both the cities. The Conference will also be addressed by the senior officials from CBEC, CBDT and Tax Department in New Delhi & Mumbai. The Chief Commissioner & Commissioners Service Tax Mumbai have already consented to address and the confirmation from CBEC & CBDT is likely to be received shortly.

These conferences are intended to disseminate knowledge about tax proposals in the budget, their implication on different sectors and highlight any hardships in their implementation. These events will be of extreme importance to all tax payers.

PARTICIPATION FEE

The conference has immense value for the participants however the fees is kept only at Rs. 4000/- (per participant, per city including Service Tax) to meet the cost. Registration form attached (10% discount for two persons and 20% discount for three or more persons from the same organization). The fee is inclusive of refreshment & lunch.
