Dear Sir,

We have taken a business premises of production process on lease basis to run the similar production activities. Can we apply for new GST Registration for the same place for similar business activities.

Same place, taking registration under GST by 2 different persons is possible.

Yes but it is natural that demarcation for identification is required.

In GST, a person can take registration based on his PAN. So as far as PAN is different a separate registration can be obtained though premises is same. NOC would be required from existing registered person for sharing the business premises with new applicant.
