Advantage or disadvange is merely of procedral and time spent on sealing either by the department or self sealing. In case of self sealing the consignment needs to be examined at port by the customs authorities. You have to ascertain the cost of procedure to be followed at the time of sealing either at factory or port by the department. The procedure of sealing has been lised in CBEC manual / central excise.
