Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) was set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in 2004 with a mandate to promote Pharmaceuticals exports and is playing the role of a facilitator in promoting exports of pharmaceutical products. The Indian pharmaceutical industry, through participation in various trade events and fairs have been able to enhance its presence and exports of pharmaceutical products in countries across the world.
