On arrival of the vehicle at the port of exportation, the Preventive Officer at the Dock (PREV_OFF) has been given the option in the System to enter the CIM number and check the actual details of vehicle/seal etc. against the declarations made in the CIM. The Preventive Officer shall enter in the ICES whether the details have matched or not and whether eSeal has been found to be tampered with, depending on the reading of eSeal reader device.
