A bare perusal of the extract of the order dated 13.05.2020 would show that Ms. Shiva Lakshmi, who appears on behalf of the respondent i.e. DGFT, sought time to take instructions in the matter in the light of observations made in paragraph 7 of the said order. 3. Ms. Lakshmi has returned with instructions. Ms. Lakshmi says that the DGFT is going to consider not only the petitioner s case but several similar cases for issuance of license and allocation of quota qua Calcined Pet Coke [in short CPC ]. This exercise, according to Ms. Lakshmi, will commence from today. 4. (iii) In the event the DGFT is required to take recourse to the direction contained in Clause (ii) above, then, the DGFT will make necessary adjustments qua the quantities of CPC which may be allocated to the petitioners in the ensuing financial year i.e. 2020-2021. (iv) To enable the DGFT to deal with the petitioners request for allocation of CPC in terms of the direction contained in Clause (i) above, the DGFT will treat the present petition as an application and pass the necessary orders in that behalf.
