The E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, regulate the release of imported consignments for 106 specified Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) items, categorized as ITEW, CEEW, LSEEW, EETW, TLSEW, MDW, and LIW. These rules mandate compliance with specific guidelines for the import, handling, and disposal of e-waste to ensure environmental protection and proper waste management.
