2001 (9) TMI 696 - AT - Central Excise

The appeal was dismissed for default as the appellants did not attend the hearing. They claimed to have sent a Telegram requesting an adjournment due to their Chartered Accountant's illness. However, the Tribunal found no evidence to support these claims and rejected the application for restoration of the appeal.
