2001 (10) TMI 542 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai ordered the pre-deposit of duty of Rs. 50,000 for Vacuum Cleaners not entitled to a specific notification benefit for being used only for cleaning factory premises of a 100% Export Oriented Unit. Failure to comply would result in dismissal of appeals without notice. Compliance deadline was set for 14-12-2001.
