2001 (11) TMI 406 - AT - Central Excise

The appeal dealt with Modvat credit availability on Crotonaldehyde used to denature Ethyl Alcohol for manufacturing final products. The authorities disallowed the credit, but it was held that Crotonaldehyde is an input related to the final product manufacture. CEGAT allowed the appeal citing previous legal decisions.
