2002 (10) TMI 437 - AT - Central Excise
The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi granted full waiver of pre-deposit and stay of recovery for duty and penalty amounts to M/s. Varun Cements Ltd., a sick unit declared by BIFR. However, the personal penalties on Shri S.L. Thakur and Shri Rajesh Thakur were partially waived, with each directed to deposit Rs. 1 lakh by a specified date.
