The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT, Chennai ruled in favor of the appellants, waiving the duty demand of over Rs. 59 lakhs and staying the recovery. The appellants had a strong prima facie case supported by a Board's Circular. The appeal was directed to be posted for early disposal on 2-6-2005.
