1977 (11) TMI 126 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax

The High Court of Madhya Pradesh ruled that hessian cloth is not exempt from sales tax under item No. 6 of Schedule I of the M.P. General Sales Tax Act, 1958. The court referred to previous decisions and a retrospective amendment to support this conclusion.
