1982 (11) TMI 162 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax
The High Court of Madras dismissed the revisions against the Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal's assessment based on estimated reckoning of first sales of iron and steel goods by a dealer. The Court declined to interfere in a matter of estimate, stating it is a matter of degree. Previous similar orders were not interfered with, and revisions were dismissed with no costs.
