The Supreme Court upheld the Karnataka legislature's classification of lawyers for profession tax based on practice location and experience. The Court found the classifications reasonable and intelligible, dismissing the appeal against the High Court decision. (Case citation: 1991 (9) TMI 352 - Supreme Court)
