The Supreme Court dismissed the application under Article 32 of the Constitution by a medical graduate seeking admission to a Diploma course in Paediatrics. The Court found it improper to grant admission belatedly for the 1990-91 session, as other students were already admitted and undergoing the course. The petitioner was advised to seek admission in a future year with no order for costs. (Case citation: 1991 (2) TMI 406 - SC)
