The Kerala High Court upheld the order of confiscation of an imported Echo-Cardiography system, with a fine of Rs. 16 lakhs and penalty of Rs. 6.5 lakhs, under customs duty exemption notification. The petitioner's appeal was rejected, and the court found the order unassailable based on the facts and statutory authorities' findings. The writ petition was dismissed.
